Welcome to our latest update from NGĀ ART. We are super excited to inform you all about our three final events for the year. We are busy planning and working with our local community to make this about creativity, self-expression, growth, joy and abundance. Most importantly of all, we want these events to be community created and enjoyed by us all!
Here are the three events that you will not want to miss out on!
NGĀ ART Glow Up Exhibition 2022: Opening at 6pm on the 2nd of December 2022. Over Term 4 of 2022 we will be running workshops and classes themed around Weird and Wonderful Fluorescent Glow Art. This will all come together to form our end of year exhibition which will run for 2 weeks.
NGĀ ART Iti Exhibition 2022: Opening at 6pm on the 2nd of December 2022 to the 16th of December alongside the Glow Up Exhibition. The Iti exhibition, is devoted to works on a small scale, with each piece being on a 10” by 10” canvas. We want to create an eclectic showcase of our local talent with a goal of having 90 participating artists from Ngaruawahia and the surrounding communities. These ‘Iti’ pieces will offer a diverse array of styles and themes encompassing painting, drawing, crochet, weaving and much more. We believe our Iti Exhibition is a wonderful opportunity to see a great variety of artwork by local artists at all different stages of their creative journey.
NGĀ ART Night Market: This is the final hurrah for the year. We will celebrate with a craft market and food vendors. It also marks the final evening of our Glow Up and ITI Exhibitions. Come down and get yourself some awesome treats, last minute Xmas gifts and last chance to see the Glow Exhibition.
We also have many one off workshops and opportunities for all to be involved. Click here to see what is on offer.
